Merz Pharmaceuticals GmbH, Eckenheimer Landstraße 100, 60318 Frankfurt am Main, as the controller, processes personal data of you (such as name, profession, business address, e-mail address,) to invite you to our Merz Webinar Dystonia Roundtable. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR. The legitimate interest is to invite you as an Expert to our webinar. To conduct the webinar, your e-mail address and the personal data you provide within the registration process will be processed. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. You will be able to attend the webinar without having to register for an external webinar service yourself. Rather, a live stream will be made available to you. Your personal data will not be subject to any webinar recording.

Personal data will be passed on to Merz service providers, which will process the data in accordance with instructions on the basis of a processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. In all other respects a transfer of personal data to third parties takes place only if Merz is by law, an official order or court order committed to disclose personal data or if you consented to the specific disclosure.

The personal data are deleted if they are no longer necessary, unless statutory provisions require a longer storage.

You are entitled to receive information about the personal data held by Merz and, in the case of the respective legal requirements, to claim for access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing as well as to receive the personal data provided by you in a structured, common and machine-readable format and / or to another person responsible or to have Merz forwarded to them.

Insofar as the processing of your personal data is based on legitimate interests as per Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 (f) GDPR, you are invariably entitled to object to such processing based on reasons arising from your particular situation. Merz will then no longer process the personal data unless Merz can prove compelling legitimate grounds for data processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the data processing is for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

To exercise the aforementioned rights and for questions and complaints regarding the processing of personal data, you can contact the data protection officer of Merz: Merz Pharmaceuticals GmbH, Eckenheimer Landstraße 100, 60318 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, dataprotection@merz.de.
